Researchers have proven that the size of your plate can affect how much you eat.  

When eating with a larger plate your portions look smaller and when you eat from a smaller plate your portions look larger. 
Studies have shown that participants ate 30% more food when they ate on a large plate. 

By eating on smaller plates you can trick your brain into thinking you are eating more food and help keep yourself from eating extra unnecessary calories.
